Friends, Romans, Fl*sters, how are we today?

Me I'm just sitting here chilling and main lining Stargate Atlantis, first three episodes of season 2 so far. Boy who knew Jason had such pretty eyes? In a side note he's a big bugger ain't he? And yup I get the whole John/ Ronon thing after ten minutes.

What else am I doing here annoying you good folk, well after reading this by dante_s_hell   I had an epiphany, don't worry I'll clean it up later.

My Dragon fic, yes I still haven't given up on it.  Instead of having flashbacks all over the place, why not just finish the original and then write a sequel.....doh I know right?  some days I worry about myself.

I'm going to finish watching Runner, then I will be thinking about writing something. You've been warned *G*

I'm sorry if I gave the wrong impression. Flashbacks are certainly okay to use. There's nothing wrong with them at all. I was just having trouble with mine and I wondered if I needed that scene at all.

That being said, getting two stories out of one seems like an awesome idea. Good luck! :-)

Don't worry seriously. What happened was I was thinking about this particular story, and how I'd hit a brick wall with it. Then I saw your entry it made me realize, instead of trying to shoehorn a flashback into the narrative. I'd be better with my original concept, and then write a much more expanded prequel.

I've got nothing against flashbacks at all, I'd just hit writers block with my dragon tale. Your words of wisdom helped me understand, it would be much better to separate the scenes.

So thank you very much for your musings, they helped a great deal with a knotty problem *G*

I loved Stargate Atlantis - I was really sad when it ended. I loved Ronan and John...hot! :-D

Yeah, sequels are the way to go...much easier than trying a bunch of flashbacks.

From the very second John opens his eyes, finds himself tied to Teyla and staring into Ronon's soft brown eyes, I knew it was gonna be fantastic! Their relationship in canon has so much depth to it. If you look me up at AO3, you may find a few fics of interest ;)

Season two huh? Runner? Wait till you watch "Duet" *grins*

Yep, Duet is thought of as a Rodney ep, but there is such gold in the Shex storyline. John's eyes on Ronon as he licks his fingers! John watching Ronon take down all his marines! Weapons testing in the armoury! I'm definitely going to have to rewatch, LOL.
