Friends, Romans, Fl*sters!  How are we tonight? I come seeking your counsel, as you all know it’s almost time for my annual visit to Asylum.  Ahh the joys of a hotel packed with demented fan girls, and poor terrified actors surrounded by us.

So the reason for my visit here tonight, I’ve just seen the schedule for A10, and now I’m getting excited, terrified and am being a gibbering wreck as usual *G*.

Ok first question my registration group is A50 (or E50 according to my photo ops but more of that later). And the registration time is 12.30 to 1.15. Usually I get to the hotel around about two O’clock, now should I haul ass and get there earlier or stick to my usual routine?

Now if I get there earlier than usual, I might consider a few purchases from this wonderful list here.

Now what else do I want?  Well ok all of them, yes I know Jared is no longer able to attend but you get the drift right.

But the ones that are really yodelling to me are:

Ty and Rick, two vampires both gorgeous no waiting!

Possibly DJ and Osric.

Also The Car!!!!!!! Oh ye gods! The Impala, seriously? Damn it’s tempting.

But the thing that interests me is the Meet & Greet, but how does one behave at these events? I’m sure hiding under the table wibbling would be considered unseemly, plus I’m on my lonesome.  How does one dress at these soirees?  Will I have to crack open the old M & S dress, or are jeans and T-shirt considered appropriate.

So many things, so little money it’s so annoying I have to eat, even though I’m fairly cheap to run.  I don’t drink a lot, one glass of wine and I’m giggling away merrily.

Decisions, decisions, I don’t know what to do....but it’s gonna be fun figuring it out.

So my dear fl*st any suggestions, and just remember I only have so much money to spend *G*

I don't have any answers for you, but just wanted to wish you a very happy asylum!

I have a ticket, but shan't be attending as my due date is on Thursday, and I'd rather have my baby up here where hubby can get me to the hospital as planned!

Wow! Congratulations! Although if you had gone into labour at Asylum it would have been the youngest attendee ever! I'll be thinking of you as we wait for another addition to the family *G*

Tough decisions being tough...mmmmmmh, you know what, the Ty/Rick douple sounds awesome. But the Julian/Ty/Mark/Rick one? Now that would be a hot deal (I would probably piss my pants being nervous as hell, ha, I'm just kidding...I would probably never make it out alive). But I'm very familiar with the money issue, so I don't know how much you can spend.

I love the photo ops you already have. Ty would be a sure thing for me, too, Richard maybe.

And the car will be there? THE CAR!!!! Uhhhhhh, do it!!!

I don't know about the Meet and Greet. Never done this event but I really think something comfortable to wear is the thing to do. It's the thing I would do.

And if I remember registration time correctly (rougue event organizes our conventions, too) it was somewhat chaotic. We made it barely in time, not because we were late but because the queue was already that long. But nothing to worry, they still let you in if you're late. On the other hand it would be only two hours earlier? I don't know. I would probably be there at 12:15 but only because I'm a little punctuality freak ;)

I know, so many pictures so little money *G* Well it's the birthday today actually so any birthday money will be coming with me.

I really wanted the picture with Ty so I pre booked, and Richard because.....Trickster heeellllloooo!

When I saw The Car, I squeed, I mean serious dolphin noises. So yeah that's one I'm aiming for, baby here I come *G*

I'll have to see if I can hold my nerve for the meet and greet as I said sitting under a table gibbering, not cool *G*

Ahh the joys of the disorganized chaos that is Rogue, it will be a case of gritting the teeth and diving right in.

So I'm armed (taking Kindle for emotional support) and ready-ish. ASYLUM here I come!

Afraid I can't give much advice as I've never been to Asylum, but I did go to a fancon in Toronto and people just wore whatever they were comfortable in.

As for the meet and greet, I think those things can make you a little anxious and that can be added to if you're conscious of what you're wearing or not wearing something that isn't the most comfortable thing ever. So I'd say dress for comfort and that's one less thing you have to be anxious about.
