She's Gone.

I have some sad news its something I'm still trying very hard to come to terms with, but this morning my dog Sasha died.
I woke up early to the sound of silence, usually I can hear either Kizzy or Sasha snoring by the bed, but today there was nothing. I suddenly had a bad feeling and sat up, it was then I saw Sasha lying full length beside the bed. She always sleeps on my side of the bed, so she can lean up against the wall with her head towards the door. But this morning she was lying on her side facing the top of the bed. I couldn't see her breathing and I jumped out of bed, and all my worst fears were confirmed my beautiful girl was gone.
She has been a little wobbly on the old legs of late, after all she was twelve but apart from that she seemed fit and well, so this has come as a complete shock. Steve swears that when he got up this morning she was still alive, she was in her familiar 'Anibus' pose lying down with her head up facing me. The only thing we can think of is after he went down stairs she lay down and had a heart attack. She looked peaceful and as if she was just lying there waiting for me to get my lazy ass out of bed and take her for her walk.
Right now we're all over the place, we always thought we'd lose Kizzy first and this has floored us.
Just before I go here are a few pictures of my girls.
