Dear Fl*st, have any of you good ladies upgraded to Windows 10 yet?  If you have is it easy to use and more importantly as far as I'm concerned, can you still rip CDs to your comnputer to transfer the files onto MP3 players. I know you lose the media centre when you upgrade, and that's where I rip my CDs to.  So before i make the leap I'm asking my fl*st if Windows 10 is an improvement on windows 8.

All technical help and advice is gratefully received.

After being warned by friends, I passed on Windows 8. I recently bought an inexpensive Toshiba laptop with Windows 10, and I don't like the laptop or Windows 10 very much. Between Toshiba and Windows 10, there's enough bloatware to annoy many users. Maybe I'd like it more if I'd bought a more expensive laptop, but I doubt it.

My 6-year-old HP ProBook with Windows 7 Professional is much faster than the new laptop. I hope that Microsoft will continue to support Win 7 Pro for several more years.

My brother the electronics geek likes some things about Windows 10.

I loved Windows 7 but decided to give Windows 10 a try. It's been 2 weeks, not totally in love with it, but I'm going to play around a little longer. If you aren't happy with Windows 10, Howtogeek.com has an article on how to go back to what you had http://www.howtogeek.com/220723/how-to-uninstall-windows-10-and-downgrade-to-windows-7-or-8.1/
Good luck!
