A Drive by post.....

sasha_dragonFriends, Romans, Fl*sters, just a quick post to say sorry for up and vanishing the last few days.
Last Thursday my long suffering other half’s dad collapsed and was rushed to hospital. He had been ill for quite sometime a combination of advancing age, diabetes and emphysema, yesterday we were called to the hospital. As you can probably guess Steve’s dad John passed away, it was a blessing in a way as his lungs were filling with carbon monoxide and he was confused and it was distressing for the family.
When it happened the entire clan were stood outside leaving myself Audrey his wife, his one granddaughter Amy, and Steve his son-in-law. I don’t blame the rest of them it may have been peaceful but being the coward that I am I kinda wish I’d been outside holding Steve’s hand. But in the end I’m glad I was there for Steve’s mum and at least Steve didn’t have to be there to see his dad go.
Needless to say I’m all over the place at the moment, but I’m starting to settle again so I will be back to bugging you all shortly and I hope to try and write a little. But in the meantime I’ll be lurking in the corner splashing about in the shallow end.
