Oh hon, I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost one of our dogs almost two years ago very unexpectedly one morning. It's hard when you have more than one - people seem to think it should be a comfort - but we were grieving ourselves and having to watch our other dog missing her mate. Our remaining dog is on borrowed time with liver disease. She's almost 13 but it's still hard watching her age week by week.
Take care of yourself and give your old girl lots of cuddles.
