These boots were made for.......
Friends, Romans, Fl*sters! How are we all today? I trust you are all well, and are almost ready for Christmas. Now why am I disturbing your Wednesday? Because I'mbored and decided to bug you lot *G*
Right I have a little story to tell, it concerns the purchase of new boots and the reactions they've caused. I found this amazing company called Alternative Footwear, to start with I ordered a pair of black boots with gold trimmings. But alas due to the fact I have elephant calfs (and the elephant wants them back) they did not fit. So after much soul searching, and ringing and annoying the hell out of them I settled on another pair.
The new boots were ordered and they arrived, they are a thing of beauty . They are lace ups which means they bloody well fit! Even better they come with interchangable ribbons, I have black, pink, purple and red.
On the first day of wearing them I went with the pink, and according to the boss who loves my boots a colleague sniffed as I tottered by "Has Ali got some new boots? Hmmm they look like bedroom boots to me." Now I don't know what she gets up to in the privacy of her own home, but I think these look great at work.
The next time I wore them I put the purple ribbons on, and nearly caused a visitor to have a heart attack. Especially when the boss gleefully informed him for my last day before Christmas the red ribbons are comming out, and she'll see if I can attach Christmas baubles *G*

I've just been to look at the other boots and I waaaannnnntttssss, my preccciousssss dorry went a bit Lord Of The Rings there.
